Why not "everyone is right"? This is asked of me time and time again. Yes, for those who grasp the idea of personal truth, everyone is indeed "right". But only for themselves. And even then, when someone does not agree with us, we seek to defend out "rightness" and being "right" creates in us expectations for others to admit/agree to the "truth" of our ideas. Everyone Is Wrong recognizes the inherent impossibilty of perfect agreement. No two people share the exact same life journey, and so there are always differences, and hence, disagreements. There are tangible phenomena in the world that cause different people to experience contemporary but contradictory realities. When the things that appear "solid" in our world are not in agreement, how can we be "right"? Trying to be "right" just raises conflict and causes anger and resentment. Instead, we must be *wrong*. It is easy enough to see the other person as "wrong", but we must come further than that and realize that we are just as wrong as they are. Our truths may overlap considerably, but where they don't, we should not automatically expect that the end result of disagreement is going to be the other person "learning they are wrong".
